EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing and it was developed by Francine Shapiro in 1989.  EMDR is considered a breakthrough therapy because it can bring rapid and lasting relief for most types of emotional distress using bilateral stimulation, which is usually left to right eye movement.  Tapping and Bilateral sound is also used.  I have treated many conditions with EMDR including trauma, headaches, addiction, and anxiety.  For more information on EMDR, please visit the EMDRIA.org  website.
